Every account has one. The ad that carried the month, then quietly stopped working. Nothing in the account changed, but cost per purchase crept up week after week.

What fatigue actually is

The same people see the same ad too many times. The first few views sell, the next ten annoy. Platforms keep showing it because it used to work, so the decline is slow and easy to miss.

The early signs

Watch frequency above three in a week, falling click-through rate and rising cost per purchase on an ad that has not been edited. Two of those together usually means the ad has a few weeks left.

What to do before it happens

Keep a new version of every winning idea ready. Same hook, new opening shot, new person on camera. When the original slows down, the replacement is already proven.

Fatigue is not a failure. It is the normal life of an ad, and planning for it is cheaper than reacting to it.
