01 Who we are
Margin Growth Studio (“Margin”, “we”) is a performance marketing studio with teams in London and Austin. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy.
If you have a question about it, email privacy@margin.studio and a real person will reply within five working days.
02 What we collect
When you request a free ad audit or contact us, we collect your name, work email, company website, monthly ad spend and anything you write in the form.
When you browse the site, we collect basic usage data such as pages viewed, referring site, device type and approximate location, through privacy-friendly analytics.
When you become a client, we also handle data inside your ad accounts and store reports. We only access what the work requires.
03 How we use it
To reply to your request and prepare your audit. To run and report on campaigns for clients. To send the Friday Report newsletter if you subscribed, which you can leave with one click.
We do not sell personal data, and we never use client customer data to target other brands.
04 Cookies and analytics
This site uses a small number of cookies to keep it working and to measure visits. Marketing cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner.
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site still works without them.
05 Who we share it with
We use trusted providers to run the business, such as our website host, email platform, analytics tool and accounting software. Each one only receives what it needs and is bound by a data processing agreement.
We may share data if the law requires it, or with a buyer if Margin is ever sold, under the same protections.
06 How long we keep it
Audit requests that don’t become projects are deleted after 12 months. Client records are kept for six years after the work ends, for tax and legal reasons. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
07 Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. You can also complain to your local data protection authority, such as the ICO in the UK.
To make a request, email privacy@margin.studio. We will respond within one month.
08 Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will also be announced in the Friday Report.
