Account rescue

Cutting what didn’t sell and cutting cost per purchase by a third in sixty days.

The account was spread across 300 products. We focused spend on the twelve that actually sold and cut cost per purchase from $54 to $35.

The problem

Northpeak advertised every product it stocked. Budget was spread so thin that the best sellers never got enough of it, and cost per purchase had drifted to $54.

What we did

We pulled twelve months of store data and found twelve products behind most of the profit. Those got their own Shopping campaign and their own Meta ads.

Everything else moved to a low-budget catch-all campaign. We rewrote product titles to match how people actually search for gear.

Profit, not revenue

We set targets per product based on margin, so a $400 tent and a $20 sock were never judged by the same number.

The result

In sixty days cost per purchase fell to $35, a 36% drop, while total revenue held steady.

They spent the first week reading our sales data, not our ad account. That’s why it worked.
